Meet the Keynote Speaker:

Helen Boucher, M.d. '86

Helen Boucher graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Currently, Dr. Boucher serves as the Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program, and as the Director of the Ventricular Assist Device Infectious Diseases Program. Dr. Boucher is also an attending physician at Tufts Medical Center (TMC) and she holds an appointment as Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Boucher’s clinical interests include infections in immune-compromised patients and S. aureus infections. Her research interests focus on treatment-resistant bacteria and the development of new anti-infective agents. Dr. Boucher also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Physicians of TMC and she is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the College of the Holy Cross.

Alicia Casey ('98)

Pediatric Pulmonologist at Boston Children's Hospital; 
Instructor in Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School. She received her M.D. from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont.

Carrie Cammarano ('07) 

Associate Director in the Clinical Supply Chain for Alkermes, Inc. Graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry.

Holly Kachadoorian-Elia ('96)

Vice Chair for Administration for the Department of OB/GYN; Assistant Professor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She received her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2002.

Stacy Powell ('09)

Registered Nurse at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Before becoming a RN she was a Senior Research Associate for Millennium Pharmaceuticals (2009-2013).

Patricia Austin ('77)

Environmental Engineer for Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.

Alison Cheung ('06)

Associate Staff in the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics.

Suzy Riccardi ('08)

Assistant staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Graduated from Holy Cross with Bachelor of Arts in Physics.

Christiana Pineda ('12)

5th year PhD student in genetics at Yale University. A member of the College Honors Program on the pre-med track, she graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a Concentration in Biochemistry.
